It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God.
2 Corinthians 3:5
If you have lost your motivation or have a long to-do list with not a single item crossed off at the end of the day, you are still more than enough. Not because of who you are or what you have managed to get done, but because of who Jesus is and what HE has already done.
If you struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, depression, insecurity, people-pleasing, or addiction, and you feel too broken for God to restore, you are still God’s priceless child. He has declared you worthy, and He is in the restoration business.
If you occasionally lose your temper, spit out stinging words in anger, and use words that offend, you definitely should ask for forgiveness from whoever you stung and for all the ugly words, but you are still passionately loved by a God who already knows all those things about you and more.
If you do not have or desire a college degree, work for a major corporation, or serve the poor in our country or abroad, you definitely should reach out to help those in need. But you are still treasured, desired, and absolutely worth dying for on that cross, even if you don’t.
If you are not model material, if you have what this world sees as “flaws”, you can still beautifully represent Jesus every single day. The only beauty He cares about is the eternal beauty of your heart, not the skin-deep beauty that quickly fades.
Hold onto Jesus! He never fails, He never lets go, and He is enough—So are YOU!! You are loved!
