When God feels far away and the lies of this world are all you hear, remember His truth, in His very own words…

God created you! (So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27) God chose you! (You didn’t choose me. I chose you. John 15:16) God adopted you! (God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:5) God loves you! (“I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love.” John 15:9) God has forgiven you! (He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. Ephesians 1:7) God sees you! (But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love. Psalm 33:18) God hears you! (If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer. Psalm 66:18-19) God delights in you, calms your fears, and rejoices over you! (He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs. Zephaniah 3:17) God guides you! (Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” Isaiah 30:21) God restores you! (The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. Isaiah 58:11) God helps you! (For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Isaiah 41:13) And when you get lost, God searches for you! (For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself will search and find my sheep. Ezekiel 34:11) Because you are His!! (“Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. Isaiah 43:1)

Breathe in these truths, and hold them close. Because God is close! You are loved!
