And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

Hebrews 11:6

Our faith is what moves God! What does that look like? Based on Hebrews 11, often called “Heroes of Faith” or “Hall of Faith”, this is what faith looks like:

It is believing without seeing. (Hebrews 11:1) It is giving God your very best. (Hebrews 11:4) It is being obedient, even when everyone else thinks you’re crazy. (Hebrews 11:7) It is being willing to leave everything else to follow God. (Hebrews 11:8) It is trusting God’s Word and knowing that He keeps every promise. (Hebrews 11:11-12) It is being willing to hand over what you love most for even bigger blessings you cannot see. (Hebrews 11:17-19) It is trusting God even through suffering and death, because you know your story doesn’t end there. (Hebrews 11: 22, 36-39) It is accepting your true eternal identity as God’s child. (Hebrews 11:24) It is sacrificing the temporary “good” things you think you want now for a much greater eternal reward later. (Hebrews 11:25-26) It is being faithful and obedient because your King is bigger than your fear! (Hebrews 11:27) It is expecting miracles! (Hebrews 11:28-30) It is knowing that you are part of God’s big picture, even though you are imperfect. (Hebrews 11:31) It is seeing God’s hand in all of your victories. (Hebrews 11:32-35) It is belief that never wavers, knowing that God’s story is eternal. You are part of a chapter in that story, an important part! (Hebrews 11:39-40)

Your story of faith joins with the stories of all the heroes in Hebrews 11. Live it well!! You are loved!
