It is God himself who has made us what we are and given us new lives from Christ Jesus; and long ages ago he planned that we should spend these lives in helping others.

Ephesians 2:10 (TLB)

When God dreamed you up, He had far more in mind than the color of your eyes, the size of your feet, or whether or not to give you dimples. He was far more concerned with the size of your heart and the people it would love, how far your feet would carry you to share His love in the world, and how brightly your face would shine His light wherever you go.

When God dreamed you up, He wasn’t only concerned about how intelligent you would be, what foods you would crave, or what things would bring you comfort on stormy days. He was way more interested in the creative ways you would think of to reach the lost, how generously you would share your food with those who are hungry, and how well you would comfort others when their storms threaten. 

When God dreamed you up, He wasn’t only thinking about what passions would drive you, which spiritual gifts to give you, or what things would break your heart. He was actually more concerned with how your passions would be used for His glory, how many lives would be touched by His Spirit through your spiritual gifts, and that the things in this world that break your heart would be the same ones that shatter His.

When God dreamed you up, He wasn't simply concerned about the family that would love you, the friendships you would have, or the future careers you would choose. He cared far more about how quickly you would forgive your family following an argument, how well you would love your friends even when they offend you, and how many coworkers would be in Heaven someday because you pointed them to the cross.

God made you ON purpose FOR His purposes. When you firmly grasp that truth, it changes EVERYTHING! You are loved!
