The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known.

Psalm 19:1-2

Those who claim there is no God must live with their eyes closed. Because God reveals Himself, His power and His glory, through His spectacular creation, where words aren’t even necessary. He made order from nothing, light from darkness, and life from His very breath. The nature He created proclaims His existence, the evidence, and the brilliance of our God. We just need to open our eyes!

Our God gave us an extraordinary gift when He created such beauty to behold, when He gave us the sun and the moon, day and night. He created the heavens and the earth, then He blessed us with vision: physical vision to see the work of His hands, and spiritual vision to see His character and His heart. He gave us sun for light, for warmth, and for growing everything we need for physical nourishment. He gave us the moon to reflect the sun, to light up the darkness of night, to influence the tides and keep the earth in exactly the right position to give us 24-hour days and four glorious seasons. There is just so much evidence that points to our Creator’s attention to every detail, and we all get a front row seat!

The heavens proclaim the glory of God, but what about you? What does your life proclaim? Your words, your behaviors, your habits? As a follower of Christ, your everyday life should proclaim His glory. It should make known who He is, even to those whose eyes and hearts remain closed. Your life must speak truth and reveal the evidence of Jesus’ love, His kindness, His grace, and His power. Even more intricately than He created the heavens to declare His glory, your Creator created YOU to do the same, only better. Let your life shine like the sun by day and the moon at night, and make your Savior known to all! Words are not even necessary! You are loved!

Among these people you shine like stars in the world because you hold on to the word of life.  Philippians 2:15-16 (CEB)
