As you prepare your heart this week to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus, forget the chocolate bunnies and jelly beans. This is what Jesus wants in your Easter Basket to help you grow in the grace and knowledge of your Savior:

A Bible to read and hear Him speak to you every day.

Earplugs to block out the noise and distractions that keep you from focusing on Him. 

An uninterrupted hour to spend with Him in prayer seeking, listening, and praising.

Space in your schedule to connect with Him every day. 

An eraser to remind you that He has removed and forgotten all of your sin. 

An extra portion of faith to settle any of your doubts. 

A bottle of glue to remind you that He restores your brokenness. 

A double dose of confidence to share the Gospel with someone who does not know Him. 

Money to purchase a meal for someone who is hungry.

A cross to remind you every day what He did for you.

And of course, a chocolate bunny and some jelly beans…because He loves you and wants to make you smile!
